Timings: – Monday to Saturday, 12.30pm to 5.30pm

REGULAR ATTENDANCE & PUNCTUALITY

 Students are expected to attend college regularly and attend all the lecturers.
 Strive to be present every day. In case of absence, parents should call the college on the day
of absence and notify the teacher in writing upon the student’s return to college.
 Be punctual, report to college and class on time. If a student arrives in college after 12.30
pm, he/she needs to report to the office to receive an admit/tardy slip. Students are
discouraged from coming to college prior to 12.15 p.m.
 Leave the premises immediately after college hours.
WORK HABITS

 Students are expected to be prepared for and to participate in each class to meet
performance standards, to have the necessary class materials, to complete classwork,
homework accurately on time, and to prepare for tests / examinations.
SAFETY / RESPECT FOR SELF AND OTHERS

 Students are expected to be honest, behave with dignity and treat others with respect and
courtesy. Behavior of the individual should not interfere with the rights of others. This
includes the use of appropriate language, actions and attire.
 Respect each other at all times. Disagreements will be settled by discussing the problem and
seeking a solution that is fair to all concerned.
 Students are expected not to harass others verbally and physically.
 We are a ‘TOBACCO FREE COLLEGE’ hence consumption of tobacco in any form is
strictly prohibited in the campus. Strict action will be taken if anyone found using tobacco
products, alcohol or drugs.
 Maintain order when moving to different areas. Do not run; running is a frequent cause of
injuries. Remain within college boundaries at all times. Avoid using abusive or profane
language and gestures. Do not climb trees, gates, railings, fences, and the college buildings.
 Valuables, extra money, computer games, items of sentimental value, fireworks, matches,
weapons or expensive toys & chewing gum are strictly not allowed in college.
 Buying/selling of personal items and trading are not allowed.
 Cell phones to be switched off during college hours.

RESPECT FOR AUTHORITY

 Students are expected to comply with all the rules and to obey all the laws.
 Students are expected to respond in a respectful manner to all adults while under the
jurisdiction of the college and while participating in college -sponsored activities.

RESPECT FOR PROPERTY

 Students are expected to treat all property belonging to the college and to others with care.
 Do not deface or damage school property. Those found guilty will make restitution.

FREEDOM FROM FEAR

 Students are expected to contribute to a safe college environment free from fear. Acts of
violence, weapons and contraband are never acceptable.
 Safety and fair play are essential. Although playground equipment will be supervised by an
adult, practice proper use at all times.
 Respect each other. Avoid bumping into or hurting others. Rough contact, sports and games
are not allowed.
 Report all accidents to the teacher on duty or supervisor.
 Do not throw rocks, dirt or anything that may hurt others.
 The behavior of the students outside school should be worthy of the uniform they wear.
Students are answerable to the school authority for their conduct even outside the school. A
visit to restaurants, hotel, bakery etc. and for extra classes in uniform is strictly prohibited.

COLLEGE UNIFORM

 The college uniform needs to be looked after and worn with sense of self –pride.
 Every Student should have sufficient number of uniforms (at least 2 sets) similar colour
and pattern. Parents are therefore, requested to accord due attention to the college
uniform of their wards .
 Any child wearing a uniform other than the one stated will not be allowed to attend college.
There must be uniformity in colour, pattern and length.
 No jewellery (gold or otherwise) will be allowed. It will be confiscated if worn. Finger nails
must be cut short and kept clean. Nail polish is not permitted. No fancy haircut. Hair should
be plaited or tied in ponytail as per the length of the hair.
 Boys must cut their hair short once in 3 weeks. No mushroom cut and colouring or streaking
of hair is allowed. Nails to be kept short and clean. No perfume and surma allowed.
